Merry "baby's first" Christmases 2011

Santa Clause made an appearance. Briar whispered to me, "where's Grandpa Cookie?" apparently he was "taking a nap" while Santa was there.

Our special breakfast this year was baked french toast and it was YUM

...So this is Christmas [2011] in Minnesota. Unforgettable! NO SNOW and it's so warm I have to take a picture of the kids outside...but it's so sunny that I can't get a good picture of the kids outside.(check out the look on Briar's and Jude's face)

...since Christmas landed on a Sunday this year, we opened our presents after we got home from Church.

he's the typical baby...appreciates the gift wrap more than the gift!

Made in Pennsylvania by [our friends] the Herrs! Briar and Truman love these peanut butter filled pretzels and we found them at Sam's Club. Yay!

After stockings and breakfast and church and opening all our gifts, we piled in the van for our four hour drive to Wisconsin to celebrate with my side of the family...all 4 kids slept most of the way
